We traveled to a small town in Italy called … Prosecco!
Does that ring a bell? 🍾
Yes, there is actually a place nestled in the hills surrounding Trieste, in Italy’s overlooked region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, named just like the famous sparkling wine.
Or is it maybe the other way around? 🤭
Look at what we walked into! And we were so excited that our dad, Papà Riccardo, could experience this with us.

So here is why went there.
If you ask any Italian where Prosecco wine is from, they will unanimously say… in the region of Veneto, in Valdobbiadene!
❌ WRONG
Actually, the credit for creating one of the world’s most popular sparkling wines goes to the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, specifically to the town of Prosecco.
We joined a local wine tour to learn about the town, its wine, and how it became internationally famous.
And now we’re sharing it with you! 👇
Cheers! 🥂
